ThaiNox foresees a significant growth potential in Thailand’s stainless steel market, as the average local consumption of stainless steel is currently at a low of only 2.2 kilograms per head per annum, compared to other developed countries in Asia (e.g. Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan) where the consumption exceeds 10 kilograms per head per annum.

As the country’s sole domestic stainless steel producer, it is our commitment to contribute not only to the industry’s development and expansion, but also to the country’s well-being and prosperity. Apart from supplying 60% of our premium-quality products to major revenue-generating industries (e.g. architecture, building, and construction) within the country, ThaiNox also plays a vital role in encouraging the growth in downstream industries of cold-rolled stainless steel, supporting stainless steel-related SME businesses, as well as promoting stainless steel knowledge and application.
