- The Opening Ceremony of Thainox Research
and Development Center (TRDC) was held

- The Celebration for ThaiNox's Cold-Rolled
Stainless Steel production of its 1,000,000th
ton was held in February.

ThaiNox was listed on the Stock Exchange
of Thailand (SET) and launched its initial
public offering (IPO) in December. |

- Batch Annealing Furnace was installed
for the production of ferritic stainless
steels.

Emission Spectrometer) Testing Laboratory
Accreditation – ISO/IEC 17025:1999. |

- ThaiNox has invested 1.2 billion Baht
in the installation of a new cold-rolling
Sendzimir mill and other major equipment,
to expand its annual capacity to 300,000
tons.

Thainox was awarded the Hardness and
Tensile Testing Laboratory Accreditation
– ISO/IEC 17025:1999, as well as granted
the ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001: 2000
certificates for quality management standards
and environmental management systems,
respectively. |

- ThaiNox signed the Supply and Distribution
Agreement with POSCO Korea, the world’s
third-largest firm in the steel and stainless
industry. Under the contract, POSCO will
act as ThaiNox’s supplier and the distribution
agent for its cold-rolled products outside
Thailand. |
