During the visit of French President Jacques Chirac to Thailand, Thainox Stainless PCL (INOX) signed a contract with the France-based DMS (of Fives Lille Group) for the purchase of a Cold-Rolling Mill. The purchase is part of Thainox’s plan to expand its annual production capacity of cold-rolled stainless steel from 200,000 tons to 300,000 tons by the end of 2007.
